A long time ago, in the age of the dial-up BBS, I taught myself HTML from an issue of Boardwatch magazine. Thanks to free hosting space on the Buffalo FreeNet, I uploaded my first website, Stellar Link.
It was a quaint site where I organized links to other space exploration pages on the early web. Being a digital pioneer, this project caught the attention of newspaper columnists and movie script writers. After its halcyon days the Internet matured into ubiquity - Boardwatch and the FreeNet died - but Stellar Link is still here.
